Religious Education at Mandale Mill

Our RE curriculum develops children’s understanding of world’s religions and their traditions, practices and beliefs through a safe and respectful environment.  Children learn through enriched and meaningful activities that inspire pupils to be curious about the world around them.  We work with children to enable them to express their own ideas, ask questions and reflect upon learning.  Visiting different places of worship and meeting religious leaders enthuse and enable our pupils to gain a deeper understanding of the religions they are studying.  Our intention is to create a sense of belonging, celebrating and valuing differences in school, the wider community and equipping each child with the knowledge and skills to play a positive role in a multi-cultural society.

If parents wish to withdraw their children from all or some of the RE curriculum they need to make an appointment with the headteacher by e-mailing info@mandalemill.org.uk
