Headteacher’s Welcome

Dear Parents, Carers and Visitors to our school,

As Headteacher, I feel very privileged to wish you a very warm welcome to Mandale Mill Primary School and our school website.  Here, we hope you will begin to see some of the exciting activities and learning experiences that happen here at Mandale Mill. Our website, and Facebook page, can only give a flavour of some of the amazing things that happen here.

This is a vibrant and successful school, but most importantly, a happy place!

We have fantastic children, dedicated hard-working staff and very supportive parents and governors who come together to form our special community. We are a school family that nurtures excellence and supports children in learning for life.

We provide a calm and caring ethos, underpinned by our GOLD accreditation from RRSA, and all staff are fully committed to providing high quality teaching and learning, backed by first class care and support for all. We are passionate about recognising the individual talents of all of the children in our care, to ensure that opportunities are provided so that all can reach their full potential. I believe that your child has the potential to do amazing things and that if we work together to support their learning journey, this can become a reality.

At Mandale Mill, everything we do is underpinned by our Belong. Believe. Become. ethos. We ensure that every member of our school community belongs and we believe in others and want everyone to believe in themselves. These ensure that everyone can achieve moments of becoming every day, all adding up to the vision that everyone can become the best version of themselves.

I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our wonderful school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and our extra-curricular activities. The website will grow over time as we add more information, but can never replace the first-hand experience of coming to visit us. Please speak to the school office if you require a paper copy of anything on this website or would like additional information.
